South Africa and Australia are currently going head-to-head in a five-match one-day international (ODI) series with the latter already leading by 2-0.
The Aussies recorded comfortable wins in the first two ODIs — by three wickets in the first and by 123 runs in the second —and got off to a good start as the four-time World Champions gear up for another World Cup triumph this year.
South Africa batted first and posted 338-6 on the scoreboard with Aiden Markram orchestrating the highest total with his 102 off just 74 balls with 13 boundaries during the third ODI in Potchefstroom.
Opener Quinton de Kock also contributed 82 runs off 77 balls, his knock consisted of 10 fours and two sixes.
However, among all the great knocks, it was Sean Abbott's one-handed stunner near the boundary line which grabbed the headlines from the Proteas' batters.
South Africa's Marco Jansen played a lofted shot at deep cover on Nathan Ellis' full-length delivery.
It looked like the ball would cross the boundary line but Abbott's sensational attempt shocked not only the fans sitting in the stands nearby but also Jansen who was seen shaking his head in disbelief.
